OUR YEAR-ROUND CREATIVE EVENTS
The Little Egypt Arts Association has a gallery and gift shop. In the gift shop are numerous items for sale such as jewelery,
paintings, fiber art, sculptures and photography. The gallery has shows rotating throughout the year including group shows,
solo artist shows and open competitions. All exhibits are open to the public during gallery hours at the art centre in Marion.

ART CLASSES / WORKSHOPS
On-going classes are for adults and young aspiring artists on various mediums like oils, acrylics, watercolors, pastels, photography, fiber, sewing and quilting. Special classes with children are held during summer and school holidays.

HISTORY Of LEAA
Little Egypt Arts Association is a not for profit artist Co-op that was established in 1995 by approximately 20 local artists and art patrons. At first we didn't
have a building until the very generous contribution of Mrs. Powell in 1999. Once we had our own building at 601 Tower
Square Plaza in Marion Illinois, we grew into a very dynamic teaching and showing facility in Southern Illinois
for the visual arts. LEAA is 501c3 not for profit art organization dedicated to teaching, showing and promoting the arts. This program is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Council of the Arts, a state agency.
LEAA BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Little Egypt Art Association's Board of Directors meet monthly on the third Monday at 12:30. Members and Friends of the Arts are all welcome.
The minutes from these monthly meetings are availible to members and the public upon request and are located at the Art Centre at 601 Tower Square in Marion.
